It is still early in the morning. Piotr put Sunny back in her own bed late last night during one of Kitty's late night moments with Anthony. He convinced her to take the couch in the study so she won't have as much of pain in her neck come morning.

Now, he is cooking breakfast and having a conversation with the very awake Anthony. Who misses Mummy and Daddy, but seems to be entertained for the moment with Piotr's egg flipping and strapped into his bouncy seat.

Well, Kitty is entertained by watching them once she comes in, yawning, and rests her chin on one hand as she sits near Anthony.

"Sunny is busy brushing Hiss' fur." Very solemnly.

[steelartisan]

He turns and lifts an eyebrow. And the frying pan. Want?

"We were talking about how blue is a very good color for many things."

For today is a blue pj day and a blue bottle. Anthony gives a kick and burbles. This man has a funny voice!

[prydeful]

"Please," in response to the frying pan as she grins. "So what is blue good for?"

[steelartisan]

"All things."

He sits down himself with breakfast for two. And gives Anthony back his squishy star toy that he had dropped.

"Except the best toys. Anthony thinks yellow is the best for those." He has that small half smile again as he plays with the baby.

[prydeful]

"Well, yellow. You cannot have enough yellow," solemnly. "And yellow and blue--er. Actually, you have most of our uniforms then." Thoughtfully.

[steelartisan]

He thinks too. "You know, that is true. Except me."

He does not go as far as to make silly faces at Anthony, but it comes pretty close. The baby replies by laughing as he spits up.

Piotr is trying not to use this as a judge of his sense of humor as he tries to clean the baby up.

[prydeful]

"Obviously you go against the crowd." She's snickering as she takes a bite. "You're good with him."

[steelartisan]

He smiles again at the baby. "Reminds me a little of Illyana."

[prydeful]

That gets a small smile from her, as she takes another bite.

"Well, those big brother skills are still good, it seems to me."

[steelartisan]

"Da," is very soft. He has that look he gets when he is contemplating great things.

[prydeful]

Anthony gets that same look when he's got a bottle, really.

Kitty looks down and eats rapidly before standing with her plate and going over to wash it.

"We can--if you want, I mean. Sometime. We can talk about her."

[steelartisan]

It probably involved something naked, anyway. It went away. His face is blank for a moment, and then he smiles.

"Da. Sometime. It has been...a long time. Since I have spoken of her. Thought of her like this."

[prydeful]

"Whenever. We've got time. And--yeah. It's been a while."

She bends over and picks Anthony up, carefully. "Now you can have your bath, since your sister's already clean."

Anthony burbles. Kitty's certain this is how he expresses his enthusiasm for the idea.

[steelartisan]

"...da."

He starts cleaning up so the house is pristine when the parents get back. But he is still smiling.

Now, time to convince Sunny to let him wash off the snake "tattoo".
